Here we show some faults found in homes.

This deep crack in the outside render was there from siting.  No attempt was made to make this good for over six months.

Water has got behind the render here.  Over painting has not obscured the stain.

Rust on the chassis

.

Rust, soil and builders rubble inside the chassis member.

Aggressive rust.

Waste pipe supported by a piece of wire.

More rust inside.

Rust and detritus.

And more........

Exposed cables and water staining.

Electric cables hanging and unprotected, debris and rusty tow bar.

Close up of festoon of cables and rusty tow bar again.

Waste pipe supported on bricks.

Torn membrane and no floor insulation.

Hidden deep inside the chassis rust deposits and the serious extent of the corrosion.

Brickwork supporting the patio structure.  This is too close to the home and clearly there is no mortar between the bricks.

Bay window trim is not sealed against the weather.

Water inside inspection hatch.

Moving inside..................................

Cooker hood ducting too small and held on with gaffer tape instead of the manufacturers clip.

Gap in window mastic outside.

Same window - inside.

Electrical connections thrown on top of kitchen units.

Offcuts of timber used to construct feature kitchen units.

Worktop not sealed against water ingress.

Broken door frame.

Dishwasher badly fitted.

Shower wall not sealed correctly.

Rusty door hinges.

Water entering through roof where a tile was missing around the boiler flue.
