1. Engage a solicitor.
2. Get a copy of the park residential licence to your solicitor for review.
3. Get a copy of the park written statement to your solicitor for review.
4. Get a copy of the terms of sale to your solicitor for review.
5. Get documentary evidence from the park owner that you will be buying a home built and sited to BS3632:2015
6. Engage a surveyor to Identify any snagging or more serious issues.
7. Get confirmation and evidence from the park owner or previous occupiers that the home manufacturers maintenance requirements have been fulfilled if the home is over one month old.
8. If the park offers the extended GoldShield 10-year warranty, get written confirmation the home has been sited and maintained in accordance with the GoldShield code of practice.
9. Retain a sum of money until any work has been done to your and your surveyors' satisfaction and agree a timescale for this work to be completed.
